Hello to all of my Freaky Frog Friends !

I am a self taught artist who because of my love for yard art and lack of funds decided to start making my own.  I went to our local Home Depot and asked the man in the plumbing department to please explain to me how to solder copper. The rest is history !  I have only been creating my critters for 6 years but have already gained quite a following, with many collectors, some as far away as England, Germany, and the Bahamas.

When you enter my world of garden art you'll see a few  spiders, a praying mantis here and there and a smattering of snakes but most of all you'll see frogs. Big frogs. Funny frogs. My froggy friends range in size from two to four feet tall and all seem bent on making you laugh.

The frogs are born at the recycling center and coaxing out their distinctive personalities requires hours of hard work. After cutting, heating, texturing, and a quick acid bath to get that green patina stylish frogs are known for, they are ready to go out into the world on their own.

With a little help from me they decide what careers or hobbies they want to pursue. " Golfer Tiger Toad" aspires to win the Masters again and another chance to wear that famous "green" jacket. "Foster the Fishing Frog" is a member of Bass Busters Anonymous and thinks work is for people who don't know how to fish. "Bing Frogsby" carries his microphone everywhere he goes and makes a living crooning for crickets. "Headrush Harry and Harriett" are trapeze artists and enjoy hanging around the garden waiting for the circus to come to town.

These are just a few of the copper critters you will meet when you enter my froggy fantasy world. They become more than acquisitions or investments. They will charm their way into your heart and become companions and confidants. Although they withstand the elements you may want to bring them inside to enjoy all year round. My typical customer has a terrific sense of humor. If you don't see anything that tickles your fancy I will be glad to do a custom piece for you. I once did an entire pool hall scene complete with a copper pool table, cue sticks, chalk, rack of balls and two froggy pool sharks.

 Perhaps Kermit was wrong.

Maybe it is easy being GREEN !!

May the light
always find you
on a dreary day.

When you need
to be home,
may you find
your way.

May you always
have courage
to take a chance,

and never
find
frogs
in your underpants.
